The Big Plot

Like a modern-day Joan-of-Arc, Japan’s national defender and social activist Moe Fukada faces life-threatening challenges for speaking out against forces working to undermine Japan. An 18-time best-selling author in multiple languages (including English), Fukada’s latest book, The Big Plot, co-authored with Jason Ho, exposes China’s covert strategies to weaken Japan from within without firing a single shot. The book details the tactics employed by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) propaganda machine to infiltrate, corrupt, and subjugate Japan’s society, government, and economy.

Fukada describes how the CCP leverages tools such as government and police corruption, disregard for international law, and the erosion of basic human rights to further its agenda. The book also explores the CCP’s use of U.S.-style “lawfare,” coordinated with its Green Gang affiliates, to suppress dissent. This effort is enabled by corrupt Japanese politicians and officials working in conjunction with these external forces.

One of the most shocking examples of corruption highlighted by Fukada involves the controversial transfer of ¥1.2 trillion from Japan to a China-affiliated foreign company. Even during Japan’s rice-crisis food shortage, the Japanese government is reportedly considering another trillions-of-yen gift to the same foreign company.

With over 518,000 YouTube subscribers and street supporters who once gathered in the thousands whenever she spoke, Fukada’s influence remains significant. When she was last arrested in 2021 for disclosing a Chinese spy network operating in Japan, hundreds of her supporters rallied outside the police station for six hours, prompting Tokyo prosecutors to release her. Her growing influence and fearless advocacy have made her a target of intensified suppression efforts.

Fukada is now under threat of imminent arrest. The Japanese police have informed her that she will be detained soon, without citing specific charges, providing paperwork, or allowing her access to an attorney. If jailed, she fears she will meet the same fate as other activists who have mysteriously disappeared after incarceration.

Under Japan’s legal system, authorities can arrest anyone without a warrant specifying a specific crime. Then, they can detain suspects without formal charges for years, with the option to detain indefinitely.

The suppression campaign against Fukada has extended to her book. A new fake version of The Big Plot was released through a legacy prestigious publisher with ties to the Japanese government. This counterfeit version, which still mimics the original’s appearance, has been altered to remove critical content, such as all references to the 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre. Fukada accuses corrupt officials of facilitating this intellectual theft to distort her message and mislead the public.

Despite these challenges, Fukada remains committed to her mission. She understands the personal risks involved in standing on the front lines of the battle for freedom. Still, she is determined to defend her country and its people from CCP influence, Green Gang collaborators, and corrupt government officials. She has built a resilient movement, and even if she is silenced, she believes the organization she helped create will continue to fight for justice and sovereignty.

Fukada is calling for international support, particularly from the U.S. She urges Americans to read her book (available in English on Amazon), contact their Senators and Congressmen to investigate the illegal and corrupt practices occurring in Japan, and spread the word about her plight. “Today it is Japan,” Fukada warns, “tomorrow, it will be America they come for.”
